The dashingly handsome and suave, Siddharth Mallya, wearing a black tuxedo with satin peaked lapels and tonal embroidered shoulder detailing, was the show stopper for Komal Sood’s luxurious demi couture collection, titled "The Twilight Seduction" at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012. Using the colour tones of the romantic sunsets and adding shades of crimson, striking violet, wine and black, Komal revealed garments that can stand the test of time. Fluid and sexy fabrics like silks, georgettes, satins, blends of Polynosics and knits gave a rich feel to the draped creations. The intricate embellishments for the garments added that exotic touch of feminine charm and great craftsmanship. Opening the show with a sexy red sequinned bikini top, black shimmering leggings and a purple silk sari, the mood was set for a show of ultra glamour. Strictly aimed at the cocktail circuit dresser, the violet front cascade halter dress, black Grecian chiffon gown, the Bandage inspired purple/gold beaded dress and the rouched satin sheath were slinky and seductive. Rhinestones played an important role as their glitter highlighted the straps that snaked across shoulders and bare backs. The stunners that took the audience’s breath away were the lace corset black front rouched gown, the violet sheeting maxi with chiffon ruffles and the black satin halter floor length creation topped with a glitzy beaded jacket.
